VVVVVVV

Sir Stafford Cripps recently left England for a private

tour of the Far East. His intention is to go from Rangoon to

Chungking where he will arrive about January 20th and where he

hopes to see you. After Chungking his intention is to leave

for Shanghai and Tokyo en route to the United States of America.

He plans to go to Japan in March.

I shall be glad if Your Excellency and Sir R. Craigie will give him such facilities and help as you possibly can.

Please repeat to Tokyo by post.
